WUHAN SANFRAN ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. is a professional supplier of water, electricity, gas, heat and energy efficiency management solution which was founded in 1998, it covers an area of about 133,400 square meters, and the annual order volume is more than 100 million US dollars. There are more than 600 employees in the company, including 257 technical engineers, among which 157 people with professional technical title. SANFRAN is qualified as ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001; and the products are comply with IEC standard, accredited by STS and DLMS.
Under the development concept of “Energy-saving, Green, Innovation”, SANFRAN has been committed to researching solutions for smart energy meters and the extended products for more than 20 years, and has successively developed more than 100 kinds of smart energy meter with low-power consumption, long lifetime, multi-mode communication. The company invests nearly 50 million yuan in scientific research every year, establishes a CNAS laboratory to develop various products, including hardware laboratory, software testing laboratory and reliability laboratory. SANFRAN has obtained more than 200 national patents and software copyrights(including more than 35 invention patents). The DCU (Data Concentrator Unit) developed by SANFRAN is the backbone of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) that helps in data acquisition, transfer of energy data to the central database, and automated meter reading in electronic energy meters, water meters and gas meters; SANFRAN has developed a variety of communication modules that can support PLC, GPRS, 4G, NB-IoT and other communication methods, realized the wireless transmission of meter data and make data collection more convenient.
There are 19 production lines in SANFRAN manufacturing center, with an annual production capacity of 20 million single phase electric energy meters, 10 million three phase electric energy meters, 3 million water meters, 6.2 million collection terminals and 26 million communication modules; and SANFAN has a workshop only working for overseas' orders to guarantee the delivery time and quality control. At present, overseas markets mainly include Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, North Korea, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Somalia, etc.
